Our mission, to foster passion, respect, and stewardship for the natural world, inspired us to engage in a museum wide effort to review both of our campuses regularly and think of ways we can become even more sustainable. In fact, we have formed a new “Green Team” that meets regularly with the purpose to recommend new ways for the Museum and Sea Center to recycle and reuse more, simply use less, and to share this effort with the community. We are now using less electricity, completing water audits, greening our events and educational programs, and educating our staff. Please join us in preserving the natural environment for all to enjoy!
