COFFEE CAMPS
Saturdays, October 9–December 18
10:00 AM–2:00 PM


What gets you up in the morning? Espresso, cappuccino, or just a good ol’ Cup o’ Joe? Do you French Press, siphon, or percolate? Do you take it wet or dry, strong or mild, or simply black? Join us on Saturdays for coffee tastings as we take you through the basics in all things coffee - from the silly to the ceremonial.

Program Schedule: Beginning on the hour from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. Each hour we will spend 20 minutes on Brewing, Espresso, and Milk Frothing & Latte Art.

Shade Grown Coffee is for the Birds! Literally…for the Birds!
CC Counselors:  UC Santa Cruz Community Agroecology Network, Rebecca Fagan Coulter, Enthusiastic Birder, and Linda Miller, Curator of the Maximus Art Gallery
Program Schedule:

  • 10:00 AM – Bird walk. Meet in the Museum's center courtyard. 
  • 11:00 AM–2:00 PM – C.A.N. will discuss why shade grown coffee is so important for birds, ecosystems, and communities alike.
  • 1:00 PM – Gallery Tour & Talk of Alexander Wilson: The Father of American Ornithology.
