Upcoming Cosmic Events
For the last weeks of spring and early summer, Mercury and Venus will both be visible just before the Sun rises and by night fall, Saturn will still be offering an edge on view of its rings along with a lovely view of some o fits moons, especially orange-tinted Titan. We will slowly move into the summer night sky where we will be able to see the constellations of Hercules and some creatures who shared his adventures: Leo the Lion, Cancer the Crab, Hydra the Monster and Draco the Dragon. With the use of a telescope, you can have a good look at the Great Hercules Star Cluster and the amazing Whirlpool Galaxy, twice as large as our own Milky Way!
