  Magic Planet

See the Earth, Moon, Mars & Beyond!
Now Open

Mounted in the Museum’s Space Lab next to the Gladwin Planetarium, the Magic Planet consists of a four-foot globe that appears to float in space in front of visitors.

The Magic Planet shows in vivid color and dramatic motion, the atmospheric, oceanographic, geological, and planetary processes that affect our Earth and all of us.

Drawing from data collected by National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration and NASA, the sphere’s animations illustrate real world information in a stunning, captivating display.

Included with general admission.

ADMISSION: Museum Members free; Non-members $10/adult, $7/senior, $7/teen, $6/child.
