As one of our closest neighbors we invite you to the Museum's annual Neighborhood BBQ to spend a midsummer's evening with "Chad" the Blue Whale skeleton, more than 1,000 free-flying butterflies, and all of your favorite exhibits. Plus, get an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Vertebrate Zoology Department and see some of our most unique collections like the fossils of a Pygmy Mammoth, skulls of a Sperm Whale, an Elephant Bird egg, and the famous California Condor AC3.
DINNER: Tri-Tip and Chicken BBQ with all the trimmings by Country Catering and a no-host bar. Vegetarian option available upon request.
TICKETS: $12/adult, $6/child. Parking is free.
