  Planning a Field Trip

It is our goal to have each student leave the Sea Center with wet hands, sandy shoes, a smile on thier face, and a deeper understanding of their world!

The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History's Ty Warner Sea Center offers school groups unique learning experiences through various activities designed to meet specific educational goals, and California state content standards. Students are encouraged to develop keen observation skills, generate questions, and construct a personal understanding of the natural world through up close explorations with live marine animals and the outdoors.
