Exhibits Technician-Design & Production

Our exhibit technician works with the Exhibits Department team to design, fabricate, install, and maintain exhibits at both the Mission Canyon campus and the Ty Warner Sea Center. This person must have a background in exhibit design and installation or in a related field and must be able to demonstrate graphic design ability. Must also have proven ability with basic carpentry and hand tools and have excellent problem solving skills.

Aquarist

Join our enthusiastic and committed Sea Center team in the important role of Aquarist, collecting and caring for a diverse California marine collection. Duties will include designing and maintaining exhibits; planning, developing and implementing diet and feeding schedules; monitoring and maintaining water quality, filtration systems, life support systems; presenting animals for exhibits, educational programs, demonstrations.

Requirements: Bachelors Degree in biology or Marine Science, or equivalent experience; expert knowledge of local marine life; advanced Diving Certification; experience in maintaining aquariums and life support sytems, with strong background in water chemistry, water filtration, disease treatment.
