Paul J. Russell

Now retired from a career spanning investment management, Corporate Communications and Finance, Paul Russell joined the Board in 2001. He has served on all the Board’s standing committees, and has chaired all its finance related committees. Paul’s wife Sandy is a docent and active volunteer in Education, Collections and Exhibits, in particular Entomology, a shared passion, and one inspired for Paul by a Museum camp in his youth. Together they have built an insect collection of over 70,000 specimens, notably documenting the local moth fauna. They enjoy bringing their grandson to the Museum, beginning before he could walk, and seeing through his eyes how the museum inspires a thirst for discovery and a passion for the Natural World. The many lectures, programs and events for grown-ups are also a favorite.
