Our biennial Butterflies Alive! enjoys volunteer support for visitor interaction and interpretation. After training sessions,  volunteers work weekly shifts throughout the exhibit run, talking with visitors and interpreting exhibit material. Volunteers must have an interest in the exhibit subject matter, but most of all they must enjoy working with the public of all ages!

Youth volunteers may earn community service credit if desired through the Museum's VolunTeen program. VolunTeen applicants must be between the ages of 13 to 18 and will be selected after an application and interview process.

For more information about volunteer opportunities in Butterflies Alive!, contact Volunteer Manager Rebecca Fagan Coulter at rcoulter@sbnature2.org or 805-682-4711 ext. 107.
