Member Appreciation Month Begins
At the Museum and Sea Center
It's a great time of year to be or become a Member! September is Member Appreciation Month, and we’re showing our gratitude for Members with the following special events and discounts.
Donuts & Dinos (with Buddy the Dino) – Sunday, September 13, 9:00–10:00 AM
Members are invited to attend our annual Member Appreciation Breakfast and meet PBS Kids character Buddy the Dinosaur! Sip coffee or juice and enjoy donuts while relaxing with Buddy and the rest of the dinosaurs in Prehistoric Forest along Mission Creek. All ages are welcome. RSVP is required.
Cocktails with a Curator – Thursday, September 17, 7:00–8:30 PM
Enjoy a special opportunity to connect with Museum Curator of Mammalogy Ally Coconis, Ph.D. and hear fascinating stories behind our collections. This event is complimentary for Naturalist levels and above. RSVP is required.
Museum and Sea Center Store Discounts – September 8–October 10
Enjoy these limited-time discounts in the Museum and Sea Center Stores:
- 20% off branded drinkware and branded accessories, including magnets, keychains, and stickers
- 15% off branded apparel and hats
Free admission to Santa Barbara Botanic Garden – September 8–October 10
Museum Members can enjoy complimentary admission to the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden. To participate, please make an online reservation for the Garden and present your reservation, active SBMNH membership card, and photo ID when you arrive. Admission is valid for up to four adults and five children under 18. SBMNH Members will also receive a 10% discount at the SBBG Garden Shop and Nursery.
