Things You Otter Know Thursday

August 6, 2020 / 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

Hear the story of sea otters from Sea Center interpreters and volunteers at the Museum’s Nature Nook on the wild side of Mission Creek. Inspect rare specimens from our collections, including a sea otter pelt and skull. Meet some of the supporting characters in the otter’s food web: Kellet’s Whelks and sea urchins visiting in the Sea Center’s mobile habitat. Feed the urchins kelp with other members of your household.
