Come get artsy at the Museum this summer! Included with Museum admission, enjoy drop-in art programs every Thursday, June 20–September 5.
View the antique hand-colored lithographs of Splendid Plumage, draw inspiration from the artwork, and flex your drawing skills. School Programs Specialist Amihan leads this series of short drawing sessions in Maximus Gallery. Basic materials will be available, but you’re welcome to bring your own drawing boards and utensils (pencils only, please).
This session is best for art lovers age eight and up. Check out our recurring Thursday morning Art Meets Nature activities for kids.
