Field Trip Preview for Teachers

At the Museum

Are you a K-12 teacher in Santa Barbara or Ventura County hoping to learn more about hands-on field trip options for your class? You're invited to this preview to learn more about what NGSS-aligned programs are available for field trips at the Museum and self-guided visits at the Sea Center during the 2025–2026 school year.

We'll review how to register for field trips using our new system*, announce some exciting opportunities at the Museum for teachers, and provide a chance to meet and mingle with other educators. Enjoy a free drawing with prizes, including a free field trip for one fortunate class, and a Museum membership!

4:00–4:30 PM: Wine, cheese, and mingling
4:30–5:30 PM: Presentation about our programs and opportunities

Online RSVP is required by August 22. 

*Registration for fall field trips opens Wednesday, August 27 at 3:00 PM.
