In just a handful of years, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has already changed the way we see and understand our universe. Join NASA Solar System Ambassador Krissie Cook to explore how the JWST’s groundbreaking infrared detectors peer deeper than ever into the distance and the past! Learn how we observe this “invisible” light, and expand your mind with what researchers are discovering thanks to the JWST. Experience the spectacular images produced by the telescope in the startling clarity and detail of the Museum’s state-of-the-art planetarium. With new images and data released weekly, you'll stay on the cutting edge of the latest science coming from space.
Recommended for ages 16 and up, course meets Tuesdays, November 4–December 9, 5:00–6:00 PM.
