Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival
At Alameda Park, 1400 Santa Barbara St.
The Museum and Sea Center will be part of the Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival at Alameda Park. This is a large annual community event organized by the Community Environmental Council and we are excited to participate. Find us in the Kids Corner on Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and 26, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
We'll be sharing a fun activity in celebration of Earth Day and in anticipation of our recurring summer exhibit Butterflies Alive! Stop by to count Monarch Butterflies roosting on a branch, and learn about how and why they overwinter in Santa Barbara.
There will be other booths and organizations providing tips and fun for guests of all ages. We hope to see you there. Stay later for more—the festival goes until 8:00 PM on Saturday and 7:00 PM on Sunday.
