Dinorama Exhibit Opens to the Public

At the Museum | Sprague Pavilion

We’re bringing back a fan-favorite exhibit: Dinorama: Miniatures Through the Mesozoic. The Museum’s paleontologists are curating a new incarnation with even more biodiversity than before.

Get a new perspective on deep time as you tower over a landscape of tiny dinosaurs and cross millions of years in a single step! Playful miniature dioramas bring the Mesozoic Era to life as you discover a variety of animals that lived in the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous Periods. The diversity of life and the way ecosystems transformed during the Age of Reptiles may surprise you. Watch out for the flying asteroid that paved the way for our Age of Mammals.

Dinorama runs October 17, 2026 to March 14, 2027 in the Sprague Pavilion. Included with Museum admission, Members are always free. The pavilion is ADA accessible; visit our accessibility page for more information.
