Mermaids & Buccaneers Day
At the Sea Center & SB Maritime Museum
Join us on the high seas for a fin-tastic day of seafaring adventures! At the Sea Center on Stearns Wharf, meet Ariel the Little Mermaid. Play games, listen to storytelling, and participate in a scavenger hunt. Enjoy face painting and other fun under the sea activities.
Then jump on the Lil’ Toot Water Taxi to sail your way to the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum for some swashbuckling entertainment. Build a ship, participate in a treasure hunt, and hear stories of nautical voyages.
Come dressed as a mermaid, merman, or buccaneer and win a prize!
Free for Members
Face painting at the Sea Center and Maritime Museum is free for Members, $5 for non-members.
Rides on Lil' Toot Water Taxi will begin at the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum and run every half hour. Rides are on a first come, first served basis. Free for Members at both locations, 9:30 AM-12:30 PM. See schedule below. Check in to either location to receive a wristband to ride. Riders must be Members of the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum or Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History.
