Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians Director of Museum Programs Kathleen Conti will share a preview of the Santa Ynez Chumash Museum during this free talk organized by Santa Barbara County Archaeological Society. 

The story of the Santa Ynez Chumash is told through architecture, exhibits and landscape. Built on the Reservation, this exciting new cultural complex has been generations in the making. Discover how tribal community members have contributed in creative and artistic ways to tell the story of their ancestors, and learn how the narratives of beloved ancestor Maria Solares make culture, language and history come alive.
