New Space Sciences Exhibit Opens to Public

At the Museum

July 12, 2025 / 10:00 AM–5:00 PM

Explore the solar system from the vantage point of our cosmic coast. Uncover the secrets of the tides, the seasons, and the phases of the Moon. Listen to the surprising sounds of space, touch meteorites older than dirt, and investigate the varying gravity of other worlds. Launch rockets and camp out under the stars. Get to know our celestial neighbors as you learn and play among scale models of the planets.

Plan your visit to Space Sciences to align with a show in the adjacent Gladwin Planetarium and scheduled solar viewings at Palmer Observatory.

Included with Museum admission, Members are always free. Space Sciences is not ADA accessible; visit our accessibility page for more information.

Want to experience this exhibit before it opens to the public? Museum Members will enjoy a preview at the annual Members' Party on July 11.
