The Natural History of Wine, Beer & Spirits: Whales and Rincon Brewery

At Zoom

September 25, 2021 / 5:00 PM–6:00 PM

Virtual Experience // Live Tasting via Zoom

Whales in our region face challenges with ship strikes, entanglement in fishing gear, and more. Join us over a special-edition local beer as we discuss why whales deserve our protection and respect, and what you can do to help! Marine biologist and educator Holly Lohuis from Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ocean Futures Society and Rincon Brewery co-owner Mark Hyatt share a friendship that’s deeply inspired by their love for the ocean. They’ll describe how they’ve acted to protect whales and the environment, and how other businesses, nonprofits, and individuals can follow in their footsteps. Rincon Brewer Chas Cloud will share brewery intel to help you fully savor the unique beer he brewed exclusively for this Museum fundraiser.

Customize your experience with a range of ticketing options, from a fun night learning about whales and beer to an unforgettable whale-watching adventure.
