Free Public Astronomy Talk: The James Webb Space Telescope - A Window Into the Universe’s Past

Celebrate the first year of the James Webb Telescope and its monumentally important progress for humanity, in a presentation led by Peter Love, Ph.D. Join us at the Museum for this free public talk presented by the Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit. No registration required.

Dr. Love was a systems engineer for JWST's Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI). He has worked for more than 20 years in the infrared industry designing and testing infrared focal plane arrays for a variety of systems including strategic sensors, remote sensing, and infrared astronomy.
