Pollinator Nature Journaling Workshop
At the Museum | MacVeagh House
Join us for this buzz-worthy workshop at the Museum! Nature journaling is an enjoyable and relaxing practice to inspire mindfulness, attention, and connection to the natural world. Ages eight and up are invited to join us for a talk with our Curator of Entomology Alex Harman, Ph.D., on pollinating insects, like our native bee friends. Afterwards, we’ll sketch pollinators and their plant partners during this interactive outdoor nature journaling workshop.
Our nature journaling instructors certified through the Wild Wonder Foundation will provide feedback and tips to help you hone this craft. Bring your own journaling supplies or purchase a nature journaling kit including a notebook, 12 colored pencils in a pencil pouch, eraser, pencil sharpener, and a waterproof drawstring bag to carry your materials.
